MSc, MBACP, BPC

Anne is a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and a registered member of the  British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).  Anne has experience of working with a variety of clients within an NHS setting and as an honorary therapist in a drug and alcohol charity.  She has also worked for a number of years as a Childline volunteer counsellor.  Anne sees clients in private practice offering both short-term and long-term therapy.

It may feel like a big step to start counselling.  Typically clients may be apprehensive of the unknown process of counselling and this is a normal concern.  At times clients may feel that their problem is not big enough to warrant help.  You do not need to have a major trauma or suffer from depression to start counselling.  It can be something as simple as a nagging feeling that things are not right in your life; or perhaps you are engaging in unhealthy relationship patterns which you cannot make sense of.   Anne will provide a supportive non-judgemental space in which to explore your current difficulties.
