Christopher is a BACP accredited psychodynamic counsellor/psychotherapist with over 20 years experience of working with individuals and groups in many different settings; he offers short or longer-term therapy to individuals, male or female, couples and groups.
Christopher's work experience has included working with frontline staff in the NHS as a staff counsellor for short-term dynamic therapy, and as a senior counsellor in palliative care for a number of years with patients facing death and bereaved relatives. Prior to this Christopher worked as senior counsellor within a specialised school for 14-17 year olds excluded from mainstream education; this also involved working with their families. He has experience of working with addictions in treatment centres where alcohol, drugs or other compulsive behaviours, such as eating or pornography, are the primary concern.
Christopher has lectured at the University of London, Birkbeck College, and currently tutors on the Group Supervision course offered at the Institute of Group Analysis.
