Originally from the United States, Mari relocated to London to pursue her studies and training in psychotherapy. She is a member of the BACP and her qualification and training were acquired at Birkbeck, University of London, where she obtained the MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Mari has worked as a psychodynamic counsellor in the charity sector for six years, where she sees clients for both short-term and long-term work. She worked as an honorary psychotherapist for the NHS for two years, treating patients with complex difficulties.
She specialises in relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety/stress issues, trauma and addiction. She offers both short-term and long-term therapy and approaches all work by careful consideration with each client to meet individual needs and goals.
